Poem #78 stomach a marvel of flat landscaping

Finding a favorite recipe
There were lots of clues I never noticed.
Imaging myself responsible
stomach a marvel of flat landscaping
Heart covered by two protruding hills
Cranberry lips
a love letter to an old flame
including the line “Help me”
couldn’t print a bibliography into my eyes
as I found ten metaphors
dead eyes couldn’t find my face

In an elaborate smile
