Poem #97 Moths

Let me fly father field
By the sunset orange and pale
Unlashes I cannot reach the happy omen
From thy broad lucent forgetting
Still happier air great subtle soul folding

Dyeing in a heat.

Poem #96 Pipe thou waste of visions

Immortal sickle to his silver voice
Fold call these despair mild
Lonely  slopes haunt soft wanderer
Fugitive to honor
The world’s market bought sold
Unfollowed heart like nothing
Feeble gave ground its strength
Beloved Long happy learnt men
Pipe thou waste of visions
Light wandering night
Grown not reach of

Fatigue and fear.

Poem #65 Plaintive

Did you see it?
The two of us
The first word
No way
How did they get it ?
From here to there
Working part of the time
he has it
Up in the air.
She said to go

Which way?

Poem #62 Achilles Has Known

Achilles has known
how beautiful sorrow, sorrow stands
would come a large utterance
look up, when you do not see beneath you
thy thunder, they rain, the new command of
fallen house speak of unpracticed hands
perhaps men did not known the mighty earth
or did not study architecture while in tears
forehead to the ground the moon
turned the sea upon the people
god enter in not all his curse not all his blessing
flaming robes the strings of magic broke
and fire burned fueled by strange games
harrow new desert void the blaze darkness death
my center lost to the dominion
fall great center on strange ashes
feast upon the phantoms
heavy vapors scummy marsh,
the blindfolded man in search of his future

six hours passed curtaining clouds

Poem #55 Awake Loneliness

she closed the door
no word
through empty
fruits flowers mounted like treasures before her
and for what better things shone pleasure that
did not last
heaven pure free from half hidden dreams
stolen paradise so nicely curved empty dresses
and she slept beside it,
gather on the carpet bed empty of dreams
morphine man, candid breath
did not come noise is gone
the tune to which she slept
lucent sighs
on golden dishes
light awake
whispering in her pillow
her red marked hands
spell fantasies that she cannot awaken
played eve’s wide upon him
vision of her sleep
change her dream so pure
witless words
on hands fearing to move or speak
awake loneliness with touch
vow sad eyes
change art
immortal leave my love
beyond a mortal
eternal throbbing star
dream its odor sweet
alluring against loves dark dream
cruel curse
forsakes sick upon fevered bride
blest with cursed vessel
of dying miracle love
cannot keep it but might spare the heart
arise let us away
drowned all in fearless hopes
hurried by words
no human flickering
rose along
glide
phantoms
lay huge wakeful one
and one
key turns
gone fled dreamt of
thousand ashes
scattered and places they sent upon me

loveliness nothingness full of flowery spite

Poem #43 Fifty More Words More I Won’t Know

Hear to the puffed out heroes in the absence of a moral law
Concerning someone else merely hears a cry
Young day I won’t come a ransom like everyone else,
I never was the kind of girl to buy heaven in a store
Or Religion going door to door
Selling promises- for all you had and more
You came you walked and we went
Calling for Bootlegged promises living in Empty conversations
I haven’t got a will falling in a world of free floating anxiety

Swirling and swishing as they go 50 words more  I won’t know.

Poem #40 In Shirtless Fall

Image travels of the sun
In its seasoning silence
Of the dejected muse
Art Sorrow
Thy lips in vain touch verse
A star gone
A blank airy course
Hung for ages
With tears
A wet coat
With strings of mighty sighs
And red eyes
That pull one backward
Here another useless day
Will return
Behold
so soon from here another
to think,
None a poet
A king
Glowing of pages
We the epic
Born and died
In suffering
Always cheerful
A man of original geniuses
At ease in humor,
In shirtless fall
Timely appearance
The benevolent wages
Paid to brief passage
In no sympathy with suffering
True pathos of
the serious imagination

worn with December light

Poem #22 Sometimes Hear Besides Pleasant Whining

Sometimes hear besides pleasant whining
a chatter where inexplicable splendor of man
stands garbed shameless in nothing,
sails wide past beating oars of dreams,
carried down the stream of promised comment,
A new start under feet, nothing but dirty hands.

Humble people- nothing they came,
burning heart still lit in flames till bones were seen.
Deep sea, swell in whispers of age,
youth the whirlpool of life,
once handsome and tall, as are you now
come torchlight
red of the crying rebellion of stony places-

little patience down sandy rocks.

Poem #18 Romance: An Upkeep of Sidelong Glances

Vats upon tippled turn
such inebriate
pearl a summer day
when butterflies swing kisses of air
drink till weeping
on another lust and
forgive
loved out of measure
and out of turn
kisses cross
romance: an upkeep of sidelong glances
a rag called woman
his lady fair
you and I

years worked to never know

Poem #4 Gynarchy

its obvious only near the window
souls for sale second hand
golden fiddles fair struck
elfin red of inquiry
its obvious only near the window
master of sorrow
blasting boasts
bound in chains
beat open contrite
we are not prisoners
put into life
an adopted spectacle
a painting by Rembrandt
its obvious only near the window
able things our daily life
might say
between the depth of the individual

its obvious only near the window
