Poem #67 Here Slept The Garbled Know

here slept the gabled known
 The bed feebler than then
he unweaponed reclined,
Thought it lie against me
banquet of comfort
a hero’s train to promise
under man to wield any
 up hand heavens mound
this house remembered

the grim ones mine.

Poem #66 The Cynosure

Cloud space
Heart dissembles quickly
An always alien action
Rule off Mr. Man
The man who loves her today and tomorrow
And the next day touches her
Stops mid-sentence.
Tremble notices her face in the mirror

Poem #64 Rebels Like Ourselves

half read pages only she had seen
overgrown garden room filled with life projects
worry on her collage of travel posters
a weekly her face a library
sit in solitude to read in one week
a paper back library of the world
told me we both preferred
rebels like ourselves
voice the young woman

Poem #62 Achilles Has Known

Achilles has known
how beautiful sorrow, sorrow stands
would come a large utterance
look up, when you do not see beneath you
thy thunder, they rain, the new command of
fallen house speak of unpracticed hands
perhaps men did not known the mighty earth
or did not study architecture while in tears
forehead to the ground the moon
turned the sea upon the people
god enter in not all his curse not all his blessing
flaming robes the strings of magic broke
and fire burned fueled by strange games
harrow new desert void the blaze darkness death
my center lost to the dominion
fall great center on strange ashes
feast upon the phantoms
heavy vapors scummy marsh,
the blindfolded man in search of his future

six hours passed curtaining clouds

Poem #61 Early Morning Conversation

Melancholy spirit
Oblivion melt
Lark warm voice
Nature lives
Feel gathering moments
Within space

Of two small chairs and a table.

Poem #50 Addressed to Cheap Minded Man

Rail of steel imaginations
Saturday to Monday
Peasant traditions of character
Emotions in promiscuous old names
Ribbon between north and south
Isolate marriage fifteen pence two shillings
Some doctors expression a grain of urgent truth
Addressed to cheap minded man
Rich with passion and short of excitement
Going after heat of something that destroys us
To witness some love borrowed from time
Beside useless spirit to play uniformed games
Escape error of genius save beauty the crowns
The eternal ward against in prescriptions
Venomously grimly cut from flash female
Deadly inquisition revolution beauty itself
Day idle power their faces lathing seriously
A passing lust sun of misspells
Sadness silent birds broken of word
Paid for watching no detail
Imperfect foam of no hope
slowly forming habitable ideals blanketed
by young stripped light of love for money
brittle second look shaking
that answer yes the tune drops white of dark gloom
upon the shore of vivid trembling truth
sick little flesh my river of tears flowing from mouth
glided down half troubled eyes of practical voice
too late strange head you cannot see snails rising.
All bearded in life’s sea monster
It came swimming you said thought it was behind wires
Body held playfully the surface boiling
The spring empty of water.
