Poem #29 I know the people

I know the people
song a valediction though some three persond god
the duchess of a dialogue between when light is spent
in doubtful apology:
I know the people
third to say he was a man
second to get himself a woman
I know the people
slipped worship accented a new god
emotions drunk of charity eaten in silence
I know the people
a dead farewell of this filled back city
harbor to some morbid morning
I know the people
flee from long love nothing like the sun
I know the people
Whose words long spent
Whose muses leapt and went
Whose always late on yesterday’s rent
whose money never lent
whose never known the sent
nymph to a left over passion
country written in a
Thursday preface to a vindication
socialism burden of importance
twenty one doomed you
like lovers pretty waiting for godot
a woman’s arcadia
the room of the day
His love
Shepard from: me my mistress
thought
catching the sun rising

before death batter my heart
